We’ve lived a lot of life at Bethlehem
The Table moved to Bethlehem Lutheran in the summer of 2020. We’ve celebrated births, marriages, and funerals; we’ve said a lot of hellos and a few goodbyes in this space. Bethlehem’s generosity has allowed us to flourish even in difficult times. We will be forever grateful.
These years have also taught us to stay flexible—sharing a building means the space isn’t always available for our worship services, which is how we first came to know the Center of Belonging.
A place to call home
We’ve worshipped at the Center of Belonging several times over the past couple years, and it’s become our second home. In 2024, we were approached about becoming a tenant, and we felt the Spirit moving: this was an invitation to step more deeply into partnerships, community, and being a place where all belong. Our hope is that this move allows us to grow and flourish in new ways.
We’ll also have proximity to other organizations in the building and a chance to deepen relationships with these trusted neighborhood partners:

The Park Place
Serving the Latine community, Park Place walks with parents and gives kids a place to belong. When we donate backpacks every August, it’s for Park Place students.

Flourish Food Market
For almost 5 years, Table volunteers spend Wednesdays developing relationships and serving over 70 families at the only plant-based food shelf in Minneapolis.

Ready, Set, Smile
This nonprofit provides dental care to kids from underrepresented communities, both on-site and via mobile dental clinics in schools like Stonebridge (another one of our partners!).
